Check Connection:
- If wired, unplug and replug the controller into a different USB port.
- If wireless (Bluetooth), ensure the controller is powered on and properly paired with your PC.
- Go to a website like gamepad-tester.com in your web browser, or launch a different game that is known to work with your controller, and test the controller's functionality.
- Update Drivers:
- Open Device Manager in Windows (search for "Device Manager" in the Windows search bar).
- Find your controller under "Human Interface Devices" or "Other devices."
- Right-click on your controller and select "Update driver."
- Choose "Search automatically for drivers."
- Check for Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
- Steam Input (If Applicable):
- Open Steam and enter "Big Picture Mode" (click the controller icon in the top-right corner).
- Navigate to your game library and select BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls.
- Select "Manage Game."
- Select "Controller Configuration."
- Browse and apply different controller profiles from the community or create your own.
- X360CE (Non-Xbox Controllers):
- Download X360CE from a reputable website.
- Extract the X360CE files into the same folder as the BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls game executable.
- Run the X360CE executable.
- Allow the software to detect your controller.
- Configure the buttons and axes to match your controller's layout.
- Save the configuration.
- DS4Windows (PlayStation Controllers):
- Download DS4Windows from a reputable source.
- Extract the downloaded files, and run the DS4Windows installer. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Connect your PS controller to your PC.
- Open DS4Windows, and follow the on screen instructions to set up the controller.
- Mapping Tools (JoyToKey/AntiMicro):
- Download and install JoyToKey or AntiMicro.
- Open the application.
- Create a new profile.
- Map each controller button and axis to corresponding keyboard or mouse actions.
- Save the profile.
- Run as Admin:
- Right-click on the BLEACH: Rebirth of Souls game executable.
- Select "Run as administrator."
- Right click on the executable for any controller software being used, and select "Run as administrator."
- Restart PC:
- Click the Windows Start button.
- Select "Restart."
